Terms of service
Last updated 27 September 2026
Please read these terms carefully. They explain how Pixtrait works, what you can expect from us and your rights under UK consumer law.
1. About us and these terms
Pixtrait is provided by Ceeb Moz Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16399132), registered office Office 109, 200 York Way, London, N7 9AX, United Kingdom. Contact: our contact form.
By creating an account or buying from us you agree to these terms, which form a contract between you and us. Please also read our privacy policy.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Give accurate name, email and mobile details and keep them up to date.
- One account per person. We check emails and phone numbers to prevent duplicates, and may merge or close duplicate accounts.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
3. The service
Pixtrait uses artificial intelligence to turn your photos into professional-style headshots. Results are generated images, not photographs taken by a photographer. We aim to preserve your likeness, but AI results can vary, and small details may differ.
If a headshot doesn't look like you, you can request a free likeness redo. Each headshot also includes 1 free revision.
4. Plans, prices and renewal
- Free Forever gives one headshot every month with no card required.
- Professional, Executive and Studio are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly (yearly is charged upfront).
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We remind you before yearly renewals.
- Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT where applicable. Your billing currency is set when you sign up.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal; you can cancel before then.
5. Credits
- One credit creates one headshot, including 1 free revision.
- Plan credits roll over for 1 additional month, then expire.
- Purchased credit packs remain valid for 365 days.
- Credits used on a generation that fails for technical reasons are returned automatically.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
6. Offers and rewards
- 24-hour introductory offer: after your first headshot you may be offered the Professional monthly plan for 2.99 for the first month. It renews at the normal monthly price unless cancelled, can be used once per person and expires after 24 hours.
- Referrals: you earn 1 credit when a friend signs up using your link and 5 more if they subscribe within 30 days. Self-referrals and fake accounts are not allowed and rewards may be removed.
- Marketing opt-in bonus: one extra headshot for opting in to offers at sign-up. You keep it if you later unsubscribe.
7. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing our contact form. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access and credits until then. We will not make cancelling harder than signing up.
Your 14-day right to cancel: under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a new purchase for a full refund. Because headshots are digital content supplied immediately, when you start creating a headshot you ask us to begin supplying straight away and acknowledge that you lose this right for the content already supplied. If you cancel within 14 days without using any paid credits, you get a full refund.
8. Refunds and your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something is faulty, contact us and we will repair or replace it, or give a refund where that isn't possible. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
9. Photos you upload
- Only upload photos of yourself, or photos you have clear permission to use.
- Do not upload photos of children or of anyone without their consent.
- You keep ownership of your photos. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you.
10. Your headshots
As between you and us, you own the headshots created for you and may use them for personal and commercial purposes, such as LinkedIn, CVs, websites and press. You are responsible for how you use them.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use Pixtrait to:
- impersonate another person or create images of someone without consent;
- create identity documents or images intended to deceive;
- produce sexual, violent, hateful, defamatory or unlawful content;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service;
- abuse offers, referrals or free plans (for example with multiple accounts).
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with a refund of unused paid credits where fair.
12. Teams orders
Business orders are priced by written quote and paid through a secure payment link. The quote describes the number of people and what is included. Headshots are delivered to the people named on the order. Business customers are not consumers, so the consumer cancellation rights above do not apply to Teams orders.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Pixtrait available but cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted. We may improve or change features. If we make a change that significantly affects what you pay for, we will tell you and you may cancel and receive a refund for any unused prepaid period.
14. Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for business losses where you use the service as a consumer, or for loss caused by your misuse of the service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. For business customers, our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months before the claim.
15. Complaints and governing law
If you have a complaint, email our contact form and we will respond within 14 days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.
We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes.
